1. Baking: Natron can be used as rising agent in muffins, cookies and other biscuits.

2. Fruit: Add 1/2 teaspoon of Natron for 1kg of fruits for a milder taste. Binds fruit acid of really acidic fruits like red or black currants, gooseberries or rhubarb.

3.Vegetables: when cooking, add 1/2 teaspoon of Natron to 1 l Water for softer vegetables. Ideal for pulses and cabbage.

4. coffee and tea: Milder taste and greater aroma of coffee and tea. Add a pinch of Natron to the coffee or tea water.
