Gelling sugar, ideal for making your own jam

Gelling sugar, ideal for making your own jam:  For one pack of Super Gelling Sugar (500 g) you need 1,500 g of fruit or 1,250 ml of fruit juice. For the preparation of a jelly, it is also possible to use any commercially available juice or nectar (with the exception of grape juice). 
Dr. Oetker Super Gelling Sugar contains the vegetable gelling agent pectin, which is made from apples and citrus fruits. Since gelling agent and sugar are already mixed, the preparation is particularly quick and easy - ideal for beginners.

Cooking Instructions:

Preparation: 1500g fruit or 1250ml fruit juice

1. Cut or puree fruit or measure fruit juice  

2. Mix fruits/ fruit juice with gelling sugar in a big pot – stir well. Whilst stirring bring everything to a boil and cook for 3 minutes

3. Fill into prepared glass jars up to the top. Close lids, turn jar over and let sit on the lid for about 5 minutes
