Gelling sugar, ideal for making your own jam: For one pack of Super Gelling Sugar (500 g) you need 1,500 g of fruit or 1,250 ml of fruit juice. For the preparation of a jelly, it is also possible to use any commercially available juice or nectar (with the exception of grape juice).
Dr. Oetker Super Gelling Sugar contains the vegetable gelling agent pectin, which is made from apples and citrus fruits. Since gelling agent and sugar are already mixed, the preparation is particularly quick and easy - ideal for beginners.

For 1500g of chopped or mashed fruits
1. Mix fruits or fruit juice with content of bag in a pot and stir thoroughly.
2. Bring to boil on high heat while stirring.
3. Boil on high heat for 3 minutes stirring constantly.
4. Fill into prepared glass jars up to the top. Close lids, turn jars over and leave to stand on the lid for about 5 minutes.
Increasing the amount is NOT recommended!
