Egg dye
Made by Brauns-Heitmann GmbH in Germany
Usage: Cover the work surface with a mat. Separate the ink cartridges from each other using scissors. Place a large pot with 1 liter of warm water on the stove. Place a dye bag in a container and fill it with 300ml of warm water. Cut the tip off the dye cartridges and add dye to the water in the bag. Add half of a color enhancer cartridge (clear liquid) into the bag. Place 3 raw eggs into the dye bath with a spoon, close the bag with the included clip and place it in the cooking pot provided. Tip: Make sure that the eggs are at the bottom of the pot and covered by the dye bath. The bag openings with the clips must protrude from the water. Bring the water to a boil, continue coloring the eggs for 5-8 minutes and then remove the pot from the heat. Cut the dye bags open in the sink (or in a bowl) below the clips to allow the dye to drain. Rinse with cold water. Remove the eggs and dry them with kitchen paper – enjoy immediately while still warm.
