The white diamond-like looking sugar crystals of the white sugar candy are the ideal sugar for fine Darjeeling, Assam or Ceylon tea. But also white sugar candy is often used to prepare home-made liqueurs or the traditional "topping" with grain and blackcurrants. After all, Weisser Kandis is sometimes also used as a substitute for coarse grappa sugar when cooking - a real all-rounder amongst the varieties of sugar.
